I pay close attention to how someone puts themselves together. When I consult clients on Residential and Commercial projects, I utilize the clients FASHION style(Personal Environment)to create their living environment that is nurturing at the same time.
Seems as denim and casual people usually tend to want leather or chenille. People who are more particular about things, they wear and have clothes that have to be dry-cleaned, don't mind white or silk fabric in their living environments. With more durable fabrics coming out in the market, some "casual clients" are experimenting with fabrics that can be washed and look like the "particular client" taste. These clients usually are the contemporary favoring. I myself have tended towards this clean straight line design with easy maintenance. Maybe we should be called "casticular" -particular and casual together taste.
Flat screens, I have been thinking also with this new technology, that if flat screens are incorporated with the wall decor like in the way of panels, that the black screen isn't as offensive as the older TV's with the deep old cabinets. Continuous tweaking for energy efficiency and environmentally friendly environments with clients wants, while focusing on the budget for the design, makes harmony.
